More than 150 hotel employees trained under Pathways to Professionalism

Under the Patronage of H.E. Lina Annab, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, the hotel sector celebrated the expansion of the Pathways to Professionalism program, which offers advanced specialized training to a wider array of professions for hotel employees to upgrade their qualifications while on the job, and the graduation of more than 150 employees from hotels in Amman, the Dead Sea, and Petra who have completed the program’s Level 2 training. The new level of training (Level 3) was developed by USAID BEST in coordination with the hotel industry and was piloted in the food production department at the Amman Boulevard Arjaan by Rotana. The new training will be rolled out to all of the hotels around Jordan that have adopted Pathways to Professionalism, which reached 27 hotels around Jordan by October 2018.
