Pathways to Professionalism coordinators training

16 Oct 2017 to 17 Oct 2017

Human resource professionals update their skills in a training to become certified coordinators under the Pathways to Professionalism Scheme (PTP). As coordinators,  they are now equipped with the knowledge and responsibility to make sure the scheme runs smoothly in their designated hotel. They act as a liason between administration and the master and departmental trainers.

The Pathways to Professionalism Scheme (PTP) is labor market initiative which responds to current challenge of employing skilled workers in Jordan’s hospitality industry. The scheme empowers participating hotels to recruit, select, and train employees on-the-job in food production, food and beverage services, and housekeeping.

USAID BEST assists the Vocational Training Foundation by preparing educational materials and by training coordinators, trainers and examiners. To date, 21 hotels have implemented the scheme.
