Under the Patronage of H.E. Lina Annab, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, a graduation ceremony will be held on Tuesday, October 16 at the W Amman Hotel from 12pm to 1pm to celebrate the expansion of Pathways to Professionalism to Level 3.

This new level offers specialized training for skilled hotel employees to upgrade their qualifications while on the job. It was developed by the USAID Building Economic Sustainability through Tourism (BEST) project in coordination with industry and was piloted for the food production department at the Amman Boulevard Arjaan by Rotana.

Two trainees will mark their successful completion of this program during the ceremony along with more than 150 learners from hotels in Amman, Dead Sea and Petra who have completed Level 2 training.

To date, 1,686 hotel employees have been trained under Pathways, which accounts for approximately 8% of all hotel employees in Jordan and 12.5% of Jordan’s four and five-star hotel employees.
