JITOA hosts a power breakfast on the Irish market

1 Dec 2019

Last week, on November 26, the Jordan Inbound Tour Operators Association (JITOA) hosted it’s 15th power breakfast in a series of events that focus on short-haul tourism markets. The event, which was attended by approximately 100 members of the local tourism trade, focused on Irish tourism in Jordan. The power breakfast was attended by the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, H.E. Mrs. Majd Shweikeh and the newly appointed Irish Ambassador to Jordan, H.E. Dr. Vincent O’Neill. The two highlighted key insights on the Irish travel market, new potential ways to reach and attract Irish tourists to Jordan, and the importance of marketing Jordan in the Irish market.

The power breakfast is part of a series of JITOA events. USAID BEST supports JITOA in their efforts to equip members from tourism-related sectors in Jordan and enhance the offerings and standards for tourists and visitors coming to Jordan.
