Panorama Dead Sea Complex receives grant to support marketing efforts

25 Nov 2018

USAID BEST today awarded a grant to the Panorama Dead Sea Complex to develop and implement re-branding and positioning campaigns to promote the complex as a unique MICE and special events venue capitalizing on its location, facilities and F&B outlets.

There are currently 22 employees working at the complex, all from the local communities of Madaba, Dhiban and the surrounding area.

As general manager of the complex, Anees Braizat, explained “The grant will be distributed – part of it for marketing and part of it for training so that we elevate the standard of service offered to the visitor in addition to increasing the number of visitors to the area, which will reflect positively on the number of employees here.”

He added, “(USAID BEST) did not fall short in helping us. Hopefully, in the future, we can continue developing from one level to the other.”

Located at the edge of the Zara mountain range, the Panorama Dead Sea Complex houses the only museum in the world exhibiting the ecological, geographical and cultural history of the Dead Sea, as well as the future it is heading into. It also contains a restaurant and a breathtaking panoramic view of the Dead Sea.
