Tourism revenue sees 9.2% growth — Central Bank

.2  per cent during the first eight months of this year, reaching $3.9 billion (some JD2.8 billion) compared with $3.57 billion registered during the same period last year, according to preliminary data released by the Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) on Monday. The CBJ said that the increase was mainly driven by a 7 per cent rise in the total number of tourists to the Kingdom.
